The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration website Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA here services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service level designed for intervention activities a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
